Our management philosophy since the establishment of the company has been to commit ourselves to improvements in the lifestyle standards in the area where we live in. Along with this, we have enjoyed substantial growth solely as a food retailer. This has brought about further appreciation of the support given to company activities by our customers and business partners.
In the environment surrounding the retail industry, inter-corporate competition across different business models and sectors is intensifying with acceleration in alliances and consolidation.
Under such circumstances, we offer the ultimate level of time service for our customers with a 24 hour a day & 365 days a year open format with the fundamental understanding that “retailing is a business that should adapt to change.”
We intend to create “No. 1 stores throughout our region, contributing to our customers well-being” with our selection of merchandise and store composition for daily living, by offering safe and secure merchandise with the best quality whenever needed and as needed.
Regarding store development, we will extend our branch store range across the area surrounding the Seto Inland Sea in addition to Hiroshima, Okayama, Kagawa, Ehime, Tokushima and Hyogo Prefectures.
The Hayashima Logistics Center, headquarters and ECO-Center are located in the center of that market area. We are making progress toward the realization of our “plan of \300 billion in sales with 180 stores in the Setouchi market area.”
We will continue to strive for improvement in our managerial level by expanding operations and improving business performance and efficiency, based on the concepts of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
In the belief that the retail industry will be the winner of the times with support from our customers, we will concentrate our efforts on our corporate business model including the creation of new business categories and promotion of operational reform.
